Food Safety Guidelines

Upon Delivery

  • Please place your food in the refrigerator or freezer immediately upon arrival.

  • If your order arrives partially or completely thawed but is at or below 40°F, product integrity is not impacted. Simply place it in the freezer until the day before you plan to prepare it.

Frozen Storage

  • All products may be kept frozen for up to 12 months.

  • Each item includes a “Best By” date, indicated as the Lot # on the SKU label located on the back of the package.

Thawing & Heating

  • After thawing in the refrigerator for 24 hours, products should be heated according to label instructions within 1–2 days.

  • Heat all products to an internal temperature of 165°F before consuming.

  • Leftovers may be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days and must be reheated to 165°F before eating.

Lobster Product Information

Our lobster products feature claw, knuckle, and select leg meat, known for being the most tender and flavorful parts of the lobster.

We do not use tail meat except in products where the tail is served in the shell, such as:

  • Maine Shore Dinner

  • Maine Lobsterman's Catch
