Scallop Stew


Ingredients:
  • 1  lb  scallops
  • 1/4  cup  butter
  • 1  quart  milk
  •   salt
  • 1/2  tablespoon  Worcestershire
 
Directions:
Melt butter in soup kettle, cut raw scallops in bite size pieces, cook slowly in melted butter. They are cooked as soon as they turn white. It doesnt take long remember overcooking toughens all fish. Add milk or cream slowly, stirring as you do so. Add Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper to taste. Serves 4.
