Serving Suggestions: Serve as an appetizer or entrée with salad made of fresh greens and grapefruit and avocado slices. Best with a crisp white wine or champagne.
Preparation Instructions: Keep frozen until ready to use. Thaw in refrigerator overnight or for several hours. Preheat oven to 425°. Bake on sheet pan for 15 minutes or until pastry has begun to puff. Reduce heat to 350° and continue baking for another 10 minutes until pastry is golden brown. Remove from oven and allow to cool for 3-5 minutes before serving.
PEMAQUID POINT, with its dramatic streaks of granite reaching to the sea, is one of the most visited spots in Maine, to the delight of artists, photographers and tourists. It was the scene of many shipwrecks through the centuries. The Pemaquid Point Lighthouse was built in 1897 and continues to serve as an active aid to navigation today.
