"I think we must be kindred spirits! Thank you, thank you for your gift of speedy delivery. As you put your feet up on Christmas Eve, bleary eyed and exhausted from trying to fill all those last minute holiday requests, picture one happy Boston family toasting their Mom for being so organized that she actually remembered to order the lobster pies on time. I will smile and wink in your honor. Best of holidays to you and your thoughtful staff."

"One of my sons sent me these pies for Mother's Day. I LOVE the huge chunks of lobster, the pastry and sauce.
On the next pie, though, something possessed me to just pull the entire puff pastry off of the pie and dip it into the sauce. BEYOND EXCELLENT!!
Then, since you can only get so much of the sauce to stick to the lobster chunks, I decided to 'shred' the lobster. You can do that by using two forks, one at one end and the other at the other end, and just pull the forks in opposite directions to shred the lobster.
You will be AWED at how FABULOUS all of that sauce tastes now all held in by the shredded lobster meat.
This is taking something that is already beyond awesome, and making it doubly Awesome!!
I hope someone will try it, to see how much better this already great pie can be!
If you try it and like it as much as I do, I would really like to know. You can email me at joanewear@aol.com

"Our friends in Maine sent us a 50th anniversary gift, 6 crab cakes and 2 lobster pot pies. I just have to say: both were just excellent. Arrived here in Pittsburgh, PA. in perfect condition. And, what a surprise to find the pot pies were actually ceramic ramekins. Now, that to me is class....thank you so very much for the fine quality of food. Oh, the chunks of lobster meat were unreal...and delicious.
