These awards are considered the "Oscars" of the specialty food industry. The Gold Award Sampler includes two Pemaquid Point Lobster Pot Pies, two Lobster Risotto on the Half Shell, two 9-oz. servings of Port Clyde Lobster Mac & Cheese and a quart of Spruce Head Smoked Scallop Lobster Bisque.

Two Lobster Pot Pies (7 oz each), Two Lobster Risotto on the Half Shell (4 oz each), Two Lobster Mac & Cheese (9oz each), and Smoked Scallop Lobster Bisque (32 oz).

Preparation Instructions for Lobster Risotto on the Half Shell: Keep frozen until ready to use. Thaw in refrigerator for several hours or overnight. Pre-heat oven to 350°. Remove plastic wrap from shells. Place shells on baking sheet. Bake until crumbs have browned and the risotto is bubbly; about 15-20 minutes. Do Not Microwave.

Preparation Instructions for Smoked Scallop Lobster Bisque: Thaw in refrigerator overnight or for several hours. Pour contents from package into a saucepan or double-boiler and heat on medium heat until hot, stirring often. Do not boil. Microwave: Pour contents from package into a microwave safe dish. Stir and loosely cover. Microwave on high for 3-4 minutes or until hot, do not allow it to boil. Stir well before serving.

Preparation Instructions Lobster Pot Pies: Keep frozen until ready to use. Thaw in refrigerator overnight or for several hours. Pre-heat oven to 425°. Remove pies from box and place on a baking sheet. Bake for 15 minutes or until pastry has begun to puff. Reduce heat to 350° and continue baking for another 5-8 minutes until pastry is golden brown. Remove from oven and allow to cool for 3-5 minutes before serving.

Everything was amazing with the exception of the Smoked Scallop Lobster Bisque. That was pretty lackluster
